Activate your license
One license works on 1 Mac. It activates in a minute, and moves from one Mac to another whenever you like.
Activate Closia
- After your purchase, your key shows on screen and arrives by email (it starts with CLOSIA).
- Open Closia. On first launch, the welcome screen offers to activate it; otherwise, click its icon in the menu bar.
- Paste the key, then click “Activate”. Done.
Move to another Mac
In Settings › License, “Deactivate This Mac” frees your license so you can activate it on another Mac.
Lost, stolen or broken Mac? Write to support@getclosia.com with your key and I'll free it for you.
Offline
Closia checks your license once a week. Without a connection, everything keeps working for 14 days.
An error message?
- Key already used on another Mac: on that other Mac, click “Deactivate This Mac”, then try again. If it's out of reach, write to me.
- Key not found: check it's complete, dashes included. The easiest way is to copy and paste it from the email.
- “Couldn't reach the license server”: check your connection, then try again.
